Affiliate terms

These terms cover the Lemonsignal affiliate programme, run by Feynman OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (“Lemonsignal”, “we”). By applying, you (“the affiliate”) agree to them. The short version is on the affiliate page.

Joining

Anyone can apply. We decide who joins, and we may say no without giving a reason. Once accepted, you get a personal link. Joining is free, and it does not make you an employee, agent or partner of Lemonsignal. You may not speak or sign for Lemonsignal.

What counts as a referral

• A company counts as your referral when it signs up for Lemonsignal within 90 days of clicking your link. If it clicked more than one affiliate’s link, the last click counts.
• A company does not count if it is already a customer, or if we were already talking to it in the 90 days before its first click on your link.
• You may not refer your own company, a company you are hiring for yourself, or yourself.
• Recruiters and agencies: a client you introduce counts when the client signs up and pays Lemonsignal directly. If you buy Lemonsignal yourself, including on a client’s behalf, you are a customer and earn no commission.

What you earn

• 30% of what each referred company pays Lemonsignal in the 12 months from its first payment, before VAT and net of refunds.
• This covers packages and monthly plans. The first 3 free candidates earn nothing.
• Dedicated offers, for more than 200 candidates a month, are not covered by the standard rate. If a referral takes one, we agree any commission with you in writing first.
• If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it is cancelled, and deducted from your next payout if it has already been paid.

How you are paid

• A commission is ready to pay 30 days after the payment it relates to.
• We pay once a month, by bank transfer, when your ready balance is at least $50. Smaller balances carry over.
• Commissions are in US dollars. Your bank or ours may charge for conversion.
• You are responsible for your own taxes. If you are VAT registered, we may ask you to invoice us.

How you may promote Lemonsignal

• Say that your link is an affiliate link whenever you share it, as the law where you and your audience are requires.
• Describe Lemonsignal accurately, using what is on lemonsignal.io. Do not promise results we do not, such as a hire, a score or a job for a candidate.
• Use the Lemonsignal name and mark only as we provide them, and only to promote Lemonsignal.
• You may advertise, including search and social ads on any keyword, and send traffic through your own landing pages, as long as it is clear the ad and the page are yours and not Lemonsignal’s. We may ask you to stop using a particular keyword or placement, with 7 days’ notice.

What is not allowed

• Presenting yourself as Lemonsignal: ads, pages, domains or accounts that look like they come from Lemonsignal, or claim to be the official site.
• Spam, cold email or messages that pretend to come from Lemonsignal.
• Coupon, deal and cashback sites, and invented discounts.
• Fake sign-ups, paying people to sign up, or any other way of creating referrals that are not real customers.
• If you score candidates for Lemonsignal: scoring a candidate for a company you referred. Tell us, and we will give it to someone else.

If you break these rules we may end your membership straight away, and commissions on the referrals concerned are not paid.

Ending

You can leave at any time by writing to us. We can end the programme or your membership with 30 days’ notice, or straight away if you break these terms. Unless you broke the terms, we pay the commissions you earned up to the end date, once they are ready.

Changes

We may change these terms, including the rate, with 30 days’ notice by email. A change to the rate applies only to companies referred after it takes effect.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for indirect loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the commissions you earned in the 12 months before the claim.

Privacy

We use your details to run the programme and pay you, as set out in the privacy policy. We do not tell you who your referrals are beyond what is needed to show what you have earned.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of Estonia.
